back to WWII, we have perfected the growing demand for our quality products within
the mechanical insulation industry and the Pacific Northwest.
Although Thermal Pipe Shields Incorporated
was started not to long ago in 1995, there is still quite
a history behind it’s inception. Jeff Heckman is the owner and operator of T.P.S.
and has been in the mechanical insulations business for decades. Jeff’s grandfather
was employed with the E.J. Bartells Company during WWII. He began his career there
in the warehouse and retired 35 years later as Chairman of the Board. Jeff’s father
followed in his father’s footsteps and spent another 20 years with E.J. Bartells
before starting his own mechanical insulation contracting company.
Jeff also worked for E.J. Bartells for a few years and then joined his father in
building his new business. In 1995 T.P.S. Incorporated was created to manufacture
pipe shields in order to keep up with the growing demand in the Pacific Northwest.
It has been over 12 years now and T.P.S. Has become the largest pipe support provider
in this area.
