In addition, we now offer full length mechanical insulation in pipe cover and board for both hot and cold process piping, tanks and equipment operating within industrial and commercial facilities.

Our roots in the mechanical insulation business go all the way back to 1942. This experience was forged in the field with several members of the family that came up on the tools as proud members of the Heat and Frost Insulators Union Local 7 (Seattle, Washington). In 1995, our founder saw a need in the commercial market and started producing insulated pipe supports in his parent’s garage. TPS has grown to become the largest supplier of insulated pipe supports in the nation, and a major supplier of mechanical insulation products..

F-2000 Phenolic

Therma-Phen® phenolic foam with ASJ/SSL and steel shield offers superior vapor sealing for below-ambient piping via extended insert for better SSL tape adhesion.

Calsil Inserts

TPSX-12® water resistant calcium silicate pipe insulation with factory laminated ASJ/SSL typically cut into 18” or 12” lengths and usually paired with a 180-degree steel saddle. TPS can also custom cut inserts to any length specified.

F-1000 Phenolic

Therma-Phen® phenolic foam pipe insulation with a two-piece steel shield that covers the entire length and circumference of the insert. Insulation is not faced with a vapor retarder and therefore should only be installed on above ambient process piping.

F-4000 HD Phenolic

Therma-Phen® phenolic foam pipe insulation with ASJ/SSL and a two-piece steel shield that covers the entire circumference of the insert. A DOUBLE THICK steel shield is adhered at the load point. Insulation insert is 2” longer than the 360-degree coverage shield. This allows for improved adhesion of field-applied SSL tape to the vapor retarder of the adjacent pipe insulation providing a more predictably sealed system which is critical for below ambient process piping.

T-4000 HD Calsil

TPSX-12® water resistant calcium silicate pipe insulation with ASJ/SSL and a two-piece steel shield that covers the entire circumference of the insert. A DOUBLE THICK steel shield is adhered at the load point. Insulation insert is 2” longer than the 360-degree coverage shield.

Saddle/Shields

180-degree G90 galvanized steel designed to protect pipe insulation from damage at the hanger locations. (Stainless and white steel is available upon request)
